Spicy Garlic Beef Noodles

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces noodles dried ramen or Hokkien noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tablespoon oil divided
  • 5 cloves garlic peeled and crushed
  • 5 red chili peppers sliced
  • cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 pieces green onion chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Boil the noodles according to packaging directions. Drain and toss with a bit of oil to prevent sticking.
  • Season the beef with salt and pepper. Heat a large nonstick skillet with oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef until it is nicely browned, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and chile pepper. Sear for 1 minute on medium heat.
  • Add the noodles and soy sauce. Tossto combine. Stir fry noodles for 1 minute.
  • Remove, garnish with sesame seeds and green onion and serve.

Notes

Remove the seeds and ribs from the chile peppers before slicing for a milder dish.
